I have the Rage Broad Heads for my compound but I was wondering if anyone has used or tried them on a crossbow? I know they came out with 125 grains broad heads for "big game" hunting for compounds and they also came out with ones now "for crossbows"......however they are the same 125 grain weight, same 2 blade action, but just different color. Is there a difference? besides the different packaging.....I mean "marketing" haha

With the new crossbow broadheads you lose 1/4" cutting diameter. Since crossbows typically don’t deliver the same kinetic energy as compounds due to the short bolt length, Rage decreased the cutting diameter to allow for full penetration.

I'm not sure about the color or weight difference, however I have used the 100 grain ones in my crossbow and they shoot and fly just fine. I have not harvested anything with them yet, but I'm hoping my youngest boy will be able to this year.
